Medicago USA, a brand new 97,000 square foot automated greenhouse with extraction and purification labs gearing up to produce 10 million doses of pandemic influenza vaccine per month, using tobacco leaves instead of chicken eggs.

Part two

The US EPA's RTP campus is the agency's hub for air quality research and regulation. Learn about new technology that EPA scientists are developing to check air quality -- from personal monitors to mobile units that sniff along highways. The agency's RTP campus houses more than 2,000 people in 600 laboratory modules and is also home to the computer core for the EPA's entire operation.
