Cathy Dold

Catherine Dold has written for publications ranging from The New York Times science section to Cosmopolitan (and everything in between), covering topics such as grizzly bear genetics, prairie dog politics, and cannibalism. She also works with many health and environmental organizations, writing educational materials, newsletters and CME, and developing social media strategy. She is now working on her first book project, the second edition of The Recovery Book, coauthored with an addiction expert. Prior to freelancing, she was an editor at Audubon magazine and a staff writer at the Natural Resources Defense Council. A graduate of NYU’s science journalism program (SHERP), she lives in Boulder, Colorado.
